"This was the only place open in town BUT the food was good. Only one person running the place and cooking AND serving as check-in for Travelodge next door. and it was busy. But he managed to juggle it all and serve a great meal."

"This place is such a great spot! While making a long trek from Southern California to Minnesota I came through Sharon Springs. I saw Stephen's had some nice reviews on Yelp and I love eating at local restaurants, so I pulled off. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the staff and owners treated me like family. It was fun to chat with them and detach a bit from my drive. The food was delicious. But what I appreciated the most was the kindness of the family and feeling like I was at home!"

"We stopped at the tank and found the luke on our truck was broken. we pulled 26 ft. Auto-hauler with a car in it. God's been watching us! behind the tank there is a welding point which has welded the attachment device. oak tree inn before the welding shop and pennys diner next to the inn. gott knew what we needed. we haven't had a good bed or a decent meal for a few days. we drag cars over land, so we were all satisfied with him. the staff was wonderful and the kitchen was excellent. the ruby cake was delicious, would like to have more. thank you all and bless you!"

"Stayed there one night last July. Nice little quiet place. Staff is helpful. Great diner attached. They fixed breakfast sandwiches to go for us even though it wasn't on their menu."
