"Justine’s is simply a must when they are in cobbleskill ny. the service is warm and friendly. the kitchen is breathtaking. are very generous and more than affordable. the chefs are trained by the owner, who assures that each court is prepared for its exact specifications. the owner prepares all gloomy cakes and cakes. they just have to save space for the deserts. they expect sro most nights to dinner. it never hurts to see if you can sniff a reservation. parking can be a challenge so that additional time can be enabled. highly recommended."

"I used to work there, long before Matt bought it, but it's still, if not more, amazing as ever. Everything is made with care. Don't expect to run in and out quickly, you can, but it's best if you sit and stay. Live music on several nights, but a vibrant spot every night. It is of the beaten trail, but overwhelming worth it."

"The American Hotel is an exceptional hotel to stay at for a vacation. The building gives you a feeling of traveling back in time to the 19th century. There are a lot of great common areas to relax at including nice lounge chairs near the bar, a spacious main dining area, and a peaceful and pleasant backyard with tables and chairs for anyone who wants to eat outside. There is also a nice front porch at street level and another one a level up if you want to be up above the street and see everyone driving and walking by. Breakfasts, which are included in the room price, are excellent and are made individually so you have a great deal of flexibility to customize your order to your tastes. The location is excellent. It is right in the middle of Sharon Springs, surrounded by quaint local shops like Beekman 1802 and McGillycuddy's. There is an excellent restaurant (204 Main) that is less than a 5 minute walk away, and a very nice cafe (Black Cat) across the street. It is a fairly short drive to major attractions like the Baseball Hall of Fame, Howe Cavern, and Glimmerglass State Park."
