After hiking around parts of the Antietam battlefield area, needed to refuel. Stopped in Captain Benders Tavern. Place is exactly what you'd expect in a tavern/pub. More space than you think, dart boards, etc. Good selection of national and regional craft beers. Food is good. great dipping with amazing eating. it's a bar, with a bar atmosphere. but eating is high quality and the drinks are never disappointing.
