Long time since our last visit as we left Sheffield some years ago and wow, how things have changed. The cafe is bright, welcoming with a good menu choice and specials. What Mat Karim doesn't like about The Hidden Gem:
Made to feel unwelcome from the point I entered the building to when they bought the machine over to me to pay for my coffee. Not sure if it is because we chose to sit outside or if it was because of our ethnicity. I haven’t experienced prejudiced rude behaviour like this since the 80’s.
