"We hadn't been for a while to Yeo Valley Canteen and were given the opportunity to go to the Supper. It some respects it wasn't what we expected as we were on 5 long tables and everyone ate at the same time. The tables had 16 on them except for ours and we had 19. This meant when the food came out we didn't always get enough. There wasn't enough portions of the beef and the carrots supporting the main course ran out before we got them in the middle of the table. There weren't anymore in the kitchen either. The vegetarian main course was very nice, as was the peach dessert, although it was very hard to eat the biscuit that came with it. I felt some of the usual flavours were missing such as the tomato starter and a tomato slice with a piece of cheese on it. It was also very noisy with everyone there at the same time. If we went again we wouldn't sit in the middle of the table, we would sit at the end where the food starts from when it goes around."

"Really loved this place good eating beautiful environment when they are in order with truck stops. brings me back 50 years when I would go out with my father and we would stop in a cafe for dinner. great staff, eating everything cooked while waiting, but not waiting too long. can recommend definately and I will be back soon!"

"Lovely food. We had a lovely afternoon tea. Great sandwiches and the scones were the best! The staff were all lovely. It was very busy so I would recommend you book in advance if you can. Hope to visit again soon."

"Visited today last minute for Sunday roast and what a great decision that was! Large choice, generous adult portions and half portions for the kids. We all had clean plates at the end and the staff were fantastic. Reasonably priced as were the drinks. We will be back, thank you! Kid-friendliness: Half portions and half price. "Really lovely dinner here. Some of the best garlic mushrooms, a fabulous game pie (with knock out chips, very fresh and I'm sure homemade), locely rum baked banana. Very friendly atmosphere, looking forward to coming back"

"I had taken my girls away for the weekend and booked a meal here for our treat. The staff were very friendly but the place was a bit cold. My daughter and I ordered steaks which were a bit over cooked and tiny!! Also they didn’t offer any steak sauce! Or even a bit of garlic butter, In hindsight I should of sent it back and asked for something else. They did check if the food was ok but I had a mouthful and they didn’t wait for an answer."
