"Visited for the first time last night and Il Posticino more than exceeded our expectations. From a warm welcome at the door to some of the most delicious and well presented food I have ever had, this gem of a restaurant did not disappoint. Very attentive and friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. And truly delicious, fresh food. We will definitely be returning as soon as we can to try some other items on the menu, but the Tuscan Seafood Sautéed Pan was so good I don’t know if I’ll be able to stop myself from ordering it again. Thank you for a lovely dining experience, we will see you again soon!"

"I normally walk my dogs along the Royal Military Canal towards New Romney from the bottom of West Hythe Hill and we stumbled across Unit 1. We were welcomed by friendly staff and dogs are allowed in so we stopped for some drinks to which there was a good selection of at very reasonable prices. Since discovering Unit 1 less than a month ago we've been back 3-4 times and will continue to visit with friends and family as we have been how have also been impressed like myself"

"Well where do I start...? The Christmas menu advertised online was a great price which is why I booked it for me and some friends! I courses for Upon arrival our table was beautifully decorated all Christmassy! The festive menu had good options...including a vegetarian option. Quick service!! Staff we're truly amazing! So attentive making sure me and my friends had all we needed! There was a man who came along to sing some carols and songs and had a really lovely voice! It was all in all a very good visit!! Highly recommend! All the staff are always so amazing here I really can't fault them!! I love visiting the hungry horse!"

"At a very stormy folkestone evening over Uber Eats. I decided to help HappyCow users and order articles that were not photographed for this site. Especially since I tried to choose between Vegan Red and Vegan Green. Also vegan green sounds healthier. And it tastes too. Many green veg, but the base sauce is slightly tasteless. I regretted the decision. Vegan Meatball Marinara was beautiful. Vegan cheese had a somewhat strange texture, but was delicious and it was definitely my favorite dish of the three items I ordered. Vegan Oreo wafer was nice, but I'm not really a dessert person. But I'm sure my niece will be happy polishing from the left"
