Nice pub tucked away from the main road. So polite and welcoming and a real ale pub. Worth a visit. Locals were very friendly.

"Visited twice while visiting family nearby. Once on Good Friday evening and again on Easter Sunday for lunch. Lovely cosy little pub with a friendly atmosphere. The landlady and locals made us feel very welcome. 10 of us went for lunch and the service was excellent. Great choice of food on the menu, and although we was a large group, nobody was waiting for course's and all was served promptly and together. Food was fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend and will be back again next time we visit. Lovely big beer garden out the back too which was well kept. If visiting in the summer would definitely sit out there for a few pints!"

"We had a great experience. It is a lovely upstairs dining room with interesting photos on the wall. Good tasted exquisite. The person serving us was knowledgeable about what we could and couldn’t eat. As well as the items on the menu he offered jackfruit curry and kidney bean curry."

"The flat breads are absolutely incredible. The team there has put together a new feeling dish, I tried the slow cooked lamb and was blown away. Learnt that they use live yeast in the making of the flatbreads and cook them in their pizza over. The texture was like a doughnut, covered in savoury sweet juices of the lamb. It's a seriously amazing dish!"

"Pretty sure chambers have a separate vegan menu behind the bar, but now it's all on a menu that's good, but it makes it a little harder to work even though employees are very good when you have questions. The food is classic pub scrub with a Tex sex slant. Their Cheeze burgers are very satisfying, and although I had no dessert there before they have several options with more on the way, apparently. A disadvantage is that I didn't notice any vegan ales, all those they were in stock that I checked were not veggie friendly, but maybe I missed something."

"Really friendly lady that was accommodating and allowed me to order off menu to suit my dietary needs. Didn’t fuss over us but was there as soon as we needed anything. Really relaxed atmosphere and a pleasant way to spend an afternoon."
