"We had delicious homemade scones with jam and cream on a wet windy Thursday afternoon. They do a lovely selection of cakes, scones, soups and light lunches. The ladies were very friendly and chatty. They also had jams, chutney and mincemeat for sale, all homemade. The upstairs shop has a really nice selection of gifts. Beautiful clean cafe. Definitely recommended."

"The inn is divided in two spaces—a pub/bar (no one under 18) and dining room. Our family of four was staying near by and was too tired to drive to Lerwick. We didn’t make a reservation and thought the dining room was closed, but they opened it up, so we had it all to ourselves that night. The food was delicious—apparently, they do a brisk takeaway business and I can see why. Everything was fresh and perfectly cooked. The wait staff was friendly and kind to my 10 year old."

"My team and I had a brilliant evening at The KB last night, I phoned last minute to book a table for 26 people after being let down by another restaurant and was very relieved when they said they were more than happy to take the reservation! The food was excellent there was something for everyone and the service was the best we’ve had in Shetland so far polite, quick and always checking that everyone was happy. We highly recommend The KB the team are already talking about booking again in the future! Thank you so much for a super evening we will be back!"
