I came here for the first time on a Monday afternoon to do some work — and wow was it crowded! I didn’t know this was more of a work study lounge vs just a cafe. I got an iced chai and it was VERY good (and I find it very difficult to find good iced chais, so my standards are high). They have a long table with outlets where you can do work it was spacious even with people on each side of me, and the chairs were comfo... View all feedback.
What Allison Danielsa doesn't like about Kaldi's Social House:
I asked for my burger to be cooked well done. After I got back home and bit into it, I noticed that the middle was raw. I'm pregnant so eating raw food is not advised. Very disappointed that I spent $18 on a burger I can't eat not mention the health risk. View all feedback.
Lived in the area for awhile and just recently heard about this place. Find a table and scan the QR code to place an order, and the staff brings your food and drink to you.I went on a weekday and saw most people there were working remotely. The place has couch and comfy seating. I enjoyed my iced tea and burrito bowl.
The service was great. The food was delicious. However, they do not accept cash and I personally do not like that because I believe it is pushing people to use a specific payment method. I believe every establishment should accept the common payment forms such as cash, cards and paying through phone. However, I guess certain places want to be cashless. They could have more variety in the beverages they offer. However, I would definitely go back. The food was 10/10.
The service was great and QR code ordering was super convenient. The food was great and there are a good amount of options and the plating was super cute!
Conveniently located in the Clarendon walking district of Arlington, Kaldi’s Social House is place with good food and welcoming ambience. Staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The environment is casual and people can comfortably share tables. It’s a good place for hanging out, or spending some focused personal time, or simply a relaxing afternoon. If driving, would need to find street parking or a nearby garage (there are several in the area). Within very walkable distance from Clarendon metro station.
I have never been there before, and I was excited to go try it. Went in to grab a salad at around 630. Went to use the bathrooms. One of the toilets was filled with urine and there was paper towels all over the floor. The other bathroom was not much better. I told the staff about it and they said they clean it twice a day and kind of rolled their eyes as if there’s nothing they can do. As far as I know when you run an establishment having a clean restroom is very important. It definitely took my appetite away.
