Went to La Côte d'Or prior to seeing a show at Wolftrap. Very convenient location, right on the way to Wolftrap. Food is outstanding a lovely house salad and rainbow trout amandine, with lovely side vegetables, tastefully done (very French)...broccoli, asparagus wrapped in something, and a beautiful crusty potato fritter, with creamy potato inside. Nestled by Econo Lodge, our virginal attempt at this restaurant was a disaster. Confounded when encountered by our server that ala carte menu displayed outside the restaurant wasn’t offered inside we were literally forced into eating a 3 course meal?
