When I first walked thru the door, the waitress was nodding out, the cook looked bored, and the single customer was sipping coffee at a corner table. I sat down at a table with bench window seats lining the length of the restaurant. I ordered coffee the gulf shrimp omelette, which came with hash browns a biscuit. I really really wanted to like this place since it was a locally owner diner and has pretty good food. However, after seeing the staff fill the ice machine with ice from a kitty litter bucket and seeing the cook come straight in after smoking and start touching my toast without washing his hands I just can't come back here.
