The hibachi table was extremely dirty within the seems... the chef had to constantly leave to get his ingredients... food was ok, tasted better once I took it home to eat the next day. The floor was dirty, it had dried rice and other items on it.. the carpet needs to be washed View all feedback.

What Steven doesn't like about Benihana Short Hills:
Other locations are better, in service and overall how the food tastes. The reason why we came to this one was because it was the midpoint for everyone. Service was a bit slow. Soups, salads, apps, drinks, and food were all served at the same time! Chef was not enthusiastic and barely talked. Did 1-2 basic tricks, and thats it, rolled on out. Brian, our server, was the best service I have ever had at this location. We also have Pablo as our chef and he too was excellent. The experience is a fun one!
