Wow! I wanted to try Jack's for years, but I was rarely on this side of the city. I'm working in the area now and I shouldn't have waited soooo long! Now I only had the turkey sandwich (deli cut into slices), but it was so good. You can taste the smoked aromas by using them. I also had a side of pommes that were thick and crispy. I wouldn't even call this Barbecue. Nothing is grilled or smoked. It's all cooked in an oven. Brisket is greasy, but it's tender. No rub and not smoked. Hardly any flavor. Sausage was okay, if you like oven cooked sausage. The coleslaw was runny but tasted okay I suppose. The potato salad was the best to me, but even then it wasn't that great.
