Had a quick half, sat in the Bassa Villa’s beer garden, overlooking the Severn. Garden is clean but basic-bar staff very friendly and courteous.

"Good to have a choice of light bites or larger portions on the daily special menu. These looked to be a fair price. Also, a good choice of food on the regular menu. The food was tasty and well cooked. The girls who served us were really friendly. I will visit again. Price per person: £20–30"

"We have been past this restaurant so many times meaning to go in one day, it was our anniversary so we decided to book, wow we wasn't disappointed The waiter serving us was excellent throughout, he explained different dishes that we had never tried as I allways go for the same thing. Food was excellent and at a amazing price aswell. Can not fault this restaurant one bit, we will be returning soon, full credit to all the staff excellent. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"What can I say? Lovely family run pub/restaurant. We go for food drinks a lot and it never disappoints. Fantastic food as always and a variety of food drinks to choose from and they even provide Vegan Vegetarian options too. Top Quality and Brilliant Customer Service as always. Staff are very welcoming and make you feel at home specially, Chammi (The Boss). You are the man, a legend and a true gent. "Amazing value for money, and excellent food and cheerful staff. Tray of chips and chicken nuggets £4.80. The kebab and chips equally good value. I would revisit this chippy in preference to any other nearby. The chips were sizeable, and full of real potato. I can give the chips 8 out of 10. If they were browner, they would have scored higher (I am a traditional chip lover as near to homemade as possible)"
