In a lovely position near St Alkmunds, and The Prince Rupert Hotel. We had excellent cafetiere coffee cream and delicious Bakewell tart. The other cakes looked great too, as did the sandwiches etc that we saw others enjoying. Nice light oak interior. read more.

Visited on a quiet afternoon and disturbed the staff chatting.... they did continue at a volume where we heard everything! (Even though we sat in the window the furthest distance from counter). Our main gripe was the horrible cakes. Looked lovely and promised so much. My husband had coffee and walnut and which he ate but he didn't know why!
