I came to lunch today, it was wet and windy and I noticed the A frame on the pavement. the hof itself is super sweet with some sitting. in the inner it is cozy and so inviting. the menu is varied and good value. it has many homemade options. the decor is beautiful and the staff were very friendly. the food was tasty, will be definitiw again. Called into this coffee shop and was greeted by a lovely, friendly young lady. Very smiley and bubbly. We ordered tea and my husband had a piece of cake. Sadly the cake was very dry and he was unable to eat it. "We were down from Scotland for my neice wedding and original booked Sabadtians. My brother and family joined us. I had the fantastic evening meal on Friday. "I was recommended by a friend when looking for someone to make a 70th Birthday cake for my sister. I have never eaten in this coffee shop, but when I went in and saw the cakes, I knew it looked very promising. The owners were lovely when I explained what I wanted, and I have to say the finished cake (chocolate) was exactly what I'd asked for. The cake itself was delicious, very moist and everyone particularly liked the fact that the filling was a ganache and raspberry jam as opposed to just buttercream. As a bonus the cake also freezes well! Handy for any leftovers. This shop will now be my first port of call for coffee and cake, although the lunch time menu looked also very tempting. Lovely atmosphere and extremely pleasant owners."
