"Lovely people and food cooked to an excellent standard. This is my second visit in a couple of weeks. First with family members for dinner and this time for lunch with a friend. Both times the welcome, service and food were outstanding. Finally a place that knows what true hospitality is!"

"Booked Christmas lunch here, so glad. Absolutely fabulous food, roasted turkey and all the trimmings plus a dish of an amazing array of vegetables, and all freshly cooked. So much we couldn't eat it all. The pub was packed, and how they coped with just one waitress and the manager serving table was a testament to a well-run ship. Money well spent."
