Cortez was so sweet! I was in store last Saturday 12/10. I told him that me and my friend have a little bit of a following where we review random snacks and drinks and that’s what we were buying macarons for. We asked for his recommendations and he was so excited to help us get the best flavors. His help and patience with us was so refreshing! AND the treats we got were delicious. This used to be my favorite spot for macarons in the city (been going since at least 2015), but the last couple times I've gone, the selection was much smaller and the macarons were stale, dry, and tough. I thought the first time it happened was a one-off event, but after consecutive disappointing visits and seeing other reviews detailing the same experience, I will unfortunately not be returning.
