We spontaneously stopped here with our motorcycle group on a day trip (and probably not for the last time! . The food was very tasty and the price/performance ratio was right. We were also served very nicely and quickly. A successful lunch break! View all feedback.

I was there with a group of cross border commuters we women joined them later by car . At first everything was good, the food was great so far, the reorder worked, only a small point deduction for the burger, but still recommended. Shortly after the meal, the service slowed down a bit, although more drinks were requested. Therefore, the border crossers quickly unpacked the alcohol they had brought with them. As a latecomer, I was surprised, but I assumed that it had been clarified with the local people mind you, I knew very few of the cross border commuters and had never been to this place or the restaurant , as was the case in some Pubs are the case. We continued to receive normal service from the service staff none of the service staff pointed out to us that it was not permitted to bring alcohol here. I can understand that, but we just weren't made aware of it! After about an hour, the cook suddenly stood next to me, extremely angry, shouted at us rudely yes, okay and, while taking the two liqueur bottles that were the main issue, threw a filled shot glass onto my clothes. I brought this to his attention, sorry, no answer!!! Only when I ran after him ! to point out to him again that he couldn't just pour the glass on me in anger, albeit accidentally, did I receive an apology. I understand our wrongdoing, I told him that, but such behavior from a chef is still not justified. Especially since the service staff simply didn't initially point out that you weren't allowed to drink anything you brought with you. In my experience, a friendly warning right at the beginning is sufficient in such cases. My personal conversation with the chef was calm and professional. Nevertheless, just as I was sitting back in my chair immediately afterwards, they said we should leave immediately. This point is also not very understandable for me, up until the incident of the cook's outburst of anger, the group was exuberant, playing cards, but not mobbing or anything like that and not immediately after the outburst of anger either, which, no one is surprised, was initially met with a lack of understanding met. In my opinion, both the service staff, who simply ignored the alcohol that was openly on the table, and the chef behaved in a highly unprofessional manner and helped to escalate a situation so that it ended with a person being “expelled”. Of course everyone paid and left unfortunately the taxi took a while . Most of them will definitely not come back. This situation could have been handled differently. A pity.
