Very cold reception. very average service. the asparagus of the entrance were nets and hard to cut. Very nice presentation. ratio quality average price. Too bad a few years ago. View all feedback.
Honestly it wasn’t a good experience. First of all I came and they told me they can’t give me a table since they are fully booked. I insisted since I only had one day and I really wanted to try the restaurant. So they finally offered me a table. I stayed there for 2 hours, the restaurant was never full. So I felt a bit unwelcome. Regarding the food, I only liked the fish. Food is boring and nothing was interesting to me. Some of the dishes were tasteless. The dessert also was very normal. They also made a mistake in one of the dishes, I requested that they remove something from on the dishes since I’m allergic, they didn’t. So they took the plat back and corrected the mistake. Overall, I wasn’t happy especially with the price I paid! I wouldn’t recommend.
Without doubt this is the best place in Sierre surrounds to have a high quality sophisticated, yet non ostentation meal without totally blowing your budget. In particular, the lunch menu is reasonably priced considering the exceptional quality of the food and service. In addition the wines are as good as you can get anywhere in Switzerland and importantly, a reasonable subset are available by the glass. They are not exactly cheap but are invariably worth their price. Service is professional, pleasant and they can equally gracefully deal with both English, German and French speaking clients. The cooking is faultless without being over the top in terms the useless fussiness of extravagant plate decoration of artistically arranged dollops a sauce with flowers or other non-edibles. I would without hesitation rate it a Michelin one star, but only if the density of the tables and ambient noise levels were made a bit lower. Having a confidential conversation is hopeless. It is currently rated as a 15 by Gault and Millau and as a plate with a Knife Fork by Michelin.
