"The Flying Yolk is a small but ramped up breakfast spot in the heart of Simi Valley. If you are looking for an independent, non-commercial type of place to enjoy a satisfying breakfast, this is the spot. They have many breakfast options to go with no matter how big an appetite you are carrying with you. The Dani Burger is a favorite of many. I usually go with the protein bowl myself. "You can taste the quality of the ingredients they put in their bowls. The first time I went there, I was shocked at how delicious the food was. Staff is super friendly here also and it's always a treat to go get some Grabbagreen! I also noticed that I don't feel terrible after eating it, like a lot of other greasier or unhealthy food choices. I think I would eat here every day if I could afford it."

"First of all, customer service was amazing. I don't know the name of the young man taking our order, but he eminated kindness and just made the over all experience so much better. Thank you!Food: We ordered the fish with rice and salad. The fish was very thin, but had a nice crispy batter. The salad was simple, but fresh. The rice was fragrant and the best part of the meal. All in all, it was a solid meal, nicely seasoned with a good portion size.Although we decided to get takeout, the interior is very clean and fun. The takeout utensils weren't too flimsy which was a plus.I took a star off because of the parking. It is very hard to get in and out of with a truck."
