"We've seen the El Nopal name for years in the Louisville area, but until recently had never given it much of a try. What a great find. We knew by the sign on the door offering the daily aguas frescas that we were in the right place. My wife and I went with another couple, and ordered several items across the menu. We were not disappointed! A special find on the menu was the chilaquiles verde, a dish we first tried in Mexico City but has not found mass popularity here in Kentucky yet. Wonderful, cheerful atmosphere set by the staff. A definite go-to spot."
