My husband and I traveled up the Alpin Cota mountain on the cable car. His parents were not up to the full trip and hike at the top of the mountain so they went to this quaint restaurant and some coffee and waited for our ascent. We had lunch when we got there. The food is typical Romanian, pork, lamb, trout, potatoes, pollenta and vegetables, tripe ciorba and cabbage salads. The view was phenomenal and breathtaking. View all feedback.

I was very excited to cameback here,a nice view of Sinaia, profesionally staff but the food....not good at all....I got a traditinal meal carne la garnita, carnaciori cu mamaliguta si burduf and I expected to descover the taste from my childhood, but I was very disappointed. It was a very...solty meat, probably got from the market, not from garnita with untura ....I 'll not comeback here to eat.... To avoid, I do not recommend! Be careful, the food is not fresh or is prepared under conditions that are not okay, because after a meal here both I and my husband came with terrible enterocolitis. We ate different types of food. Avoid this restaurant.
The best thing about this restaurant is its location, having a breathtaking panorama on the mountainside. We got to Cota 1400 by cable car and pursued to Cota 2000 after a quick lunch. The restaurant is basic, the menu deals in Romanian simple specialties, I've...had meetballs with polenta and pickles. Service a little slow, though there were loads of tourists.
Almost every time we are in Sinaia, we eat here after we walk all the way to Cota 1400. It's an old school restaurant served by the book. All meals are delicious, generous plates, moderate prices. The staff is ready to serve you and give all the details you need. The menu has a variety of soups, meat, Romanian dishes and desserts. I gotta go!
