"My husband says it was the best lamb he’s ever tasted, but overall being a tasting menu I’m impressed that I loved every single item, which is rare but the chef knows flavour! We happened upon it when the nearby cellar restaurant was closed on a Wednesday and we’re lucky enough to be given the last table. What a wonderful treat and we’ve left the restaurant’s cards in our hotel 10mins down the road in Selva so others can enjoy it. We later stayed at a 5* hotel and not one of their dishes came close to the taste. Wish we could go back!"

"We originally stopped here to try the Ensaimadas but were disappointed when we discovered they were sold out. The charming waitress suggested we go the bakers opposite and buy them there to drink with our coffee! We duly did this and were welcomed back. I cannot think of an equivalent circumstance in an English eatery."
