What יהודה likes about Dil B:
The thing about a lot of muslim/indian muslim restaurants serving nasi briyani is a lack of consistency. It often feels like a gamble, a hit n miss kind of event; some days it's good, some days the rice is undercooked, lumpy, the curry overly peppery etc etc. With this restaurant however, the quality is consistent- from the portions to the taste, to how well cooked the mutton is; and I've been eating here for the pas... One of the best you'll find. The rice is fragrant and subtly flavored and is accompanied by a robust curry of chicken or mutton. Sides of tumeric cabbage and gr...

no words can describe the shiokness of the briyani. (Chicken) chanced upon this place 2 years ago and this is still the best choice for Briyani!

"My go-to place for tonkatsu. My usual is the premium set. Pork is always juicy, with crispy crust. I love the cabbage salad here. The dressing is the best too."

"Came here and to chatterbox for some mandatory hainanese chicken while vacationing in Singapore. Both were delicious for different reasons, but I would give Boon Tong Kee a slight edge. Chicken: you can order white or dark meat or a combination. So good! It was juicy, so much flavor, and as soon as it get set on the table my mouth was watering. It was my first time ever having Hainanese chicken in Singapore, but just from the smell and look of the chicken, I knew it was going to be amazing. Much more translucent than chicken back in California where I'm from, probably because of how fresh and preservative free it was. However, I would give the chicken from Chatterbox a slight edge. Rice: this is why I like Boon Tong Kee just slightly more. The rice has more of the chicken flavor, hearty, and a stronger smell. Love love love this rice, best rice I've ever had, period! Both restaurants are good, Boon Tong Kee is almost a hole in the wall set up, no one dressed up, older furniture, and chatterbox is very fancy. However, the slight edge goes to Boon Tong Kee for its much more reasonable price."

"Came here for birthday celebration. Their pig knuckles are ready boom, the crispy pork skin like crackers, flavour is booming. Lamb chop is good. Lobster porridge just so so. Cheese platter very good for sharing. Half meter is good for 4 to 5 packs if you are trying different food from the menu. The atmosphere is good."
