"Came here for dinner for 5pax , one of the pricey yet quality buffet in town, I had more than 5lobster on my own. All the seafood is fresh and nothing much to comment but go and try their lobster And good customer service constantly checking on our table and clear all the used plate once we are done. Nice ambiance, Worth the trip and money, will be back for more lobster."

"Great food and ambience. Price is on high side. But probably worth it with the quality of food here. The presentation of the food and the waiter sharing the food and some ingredient of cooking style when presenting really add up the ambience factor. The desserts were a bit too sweet."

"Up to one of the best CNY dinners that I had, are made frying perfectly, the red groupers are steam with perfection, also they are fully booked and sitting on this day. yushan are the best, usually I touch it rarely, as most are sweet and oily, but this wah Lok version is fragrant, tasteful and fresh and we finish everything on the plate. service is really good, friendly and they serve them more like a family member instead of they customers. suppe we change it to the tune with fish maw, as we decide to shave should no longer in our dinning table."

"Love their Prawn Noodle Soup! It's a MUST order to try. and their salted egg chicken. u can taste that they use real salted egg instead of those powder. This is the type of place you go to knowing what you want to eat."

"My go-to place for tonkatsu. My usual is the premium set. Pork is always juicy, with crispy crust. I love the cabbage salad here. The dressing is the best too."

"Easily one of our favourite Bak Ku Teh stalls to visit in SG. Savoury pepper broth with hints of garlic (thankfully not too strong). The pork ribs were tender, organs were clean and cooked to perfection (just don’t leave it in the broth too long to prevent it from overcooking). Special mention to the peanuts, which were exceptionally soft and tasted like it was braised from scratch, instead of store-bought canned peanuts. We also had BuZhiXiang tea that went paired well with the meal. Highly recommend for its BKT!"

"Came here and to chatterbox for some mandatory hainanese chicken while vacationing in Singapore. Both were delicious for different reasons, but I would give Boon Tong Kee a slight edge. Chicken: you can order white or dark meat or a combination. So good! It was juicy, so much flavor, and as soon as it get set on the table my mouth was watering. It was my first time ever having Hainanese chicken in Singapore, but just from the smell and look of the chicken, I knew it was going to be amazing. Much more translucent than chicken back in California where I'm from, probably because of how fresh and preservative free it was. However, I would give the chicken from Chatterbox a slight edge. Rice: this is why I like Boon Tong Kee just slightly more. The rice has more of the chicken flavor, hearty, and a stronger smell. Love love love this rice, best rice I've ever had, period! Both restaurants are good, Boon Tong Kee is almost a hole in the wall set up, no one dressed up, older furniture, and chatterbox is very fancy. However, the slight edge goes to Boon Tong Kee for its much more reasonable price."

"We went there for a much anticipated anniversary date after taking our Covid jabs together. We ordered the seafood pasta, grilled lamb and orange duck breast with a bottle of Corimbo 2014 wine. We chose to sit pot side as we wanted to enjoy the sunset view over the city. They served us a generous basket of assorted breads which were just perfectly baked. The seafood pasta was well seasoned and Al dente. The duck breast is the best I’ve tasted so far.. absolutely palatable and tender. The lamb was also perfectly pink and tender. The staff also gave us a complimentary dessert when we told them we’re celebrating our anniversary. All in all, we had a really good time and the total bill was about $400+ including the wine."
