"There's a reason for the long queue outside. Best brunch I have had in recent memory that did not come from my own kitchen. Broad selection of sandwiches and platters, everything super fresh and delicious. Cozy atmosphere and lovely staff. Good coffee and homemade kombucha, the cocktails also looked good. Highly recommended."

"Carpe Diem's tasty months were known for a long time. Their new spider Barneys, who's actually in the distance on the right, serves the same menus and is actually part of Carpe Diem. Personally, I find this room much more pleasant than the old room. Even with a full table occupation, this case still turns like a well-oiled machine with very professional service. And what restaurant do they come in these days during the main dish with a plateau? You're certainly not gonna get out of here! Here you really come for the menu with everything on it, not for à la carte."

"Life is all about making the right choices and Brasserie José turned out to be a great one. My home-made shrimp croquettes had a crispy jacket with a creamy, tasty shrimp bisque inside. That's also called craftsmanship. The accompanying salad with radish slices, crispy lettuce and a fresh vinaigrette was also surprisingly tasty! And we are happy to agree with chef Bellings, who in an article at the entrance praises the steak au poivre as the best on the coast! Meat perfectly cooked and a spicy pepper sauce that made my husband gasp many times. A chance discovery like this makes my stay at the sea a success before it has even begun. If the accordion hanging above my head had even fallen at the end of the evening, I would have gone away extremely happy. Brasserie José has left a lasting memory on my dining soul.
