sintra may not be known for her vegan cuisine, but bengal tandoori has many possibilities to enjoy! we had luck to stay right next door so it was no option, but it is a road away from the capital. nice waiting staff to chat with and really good vegan Indian cuisine (on par with highest quality Indian restaurants). they do not take siesta that makes it easy to fit in their day. I was in this restaurant for lunch, eating a vegetable salad. The waiter wasn't really kind, it seemed that he was annoyed about having guests. I didn't tried any kind of Indian food because I felt a bit uncomfortable, as if the staff were indisposed from my stay in the restaurant.
