"We had a really great experience at Avenew on a quiet Tuesday night. Our hosts were personable and helped make for a memorable evening. We started by splitting the octopus salad. It was wonderful with a glass of a local rose. My wife had the cod with the rose and I had the duck with a really nice red blend. Both of us were quite happy with these (as well as tastes of each other’s main). Dessert with a port was also great. We’ll be happy to come back again!"

"Delicious creative cocktails! Tried the shrimp brioche and ceviche oyster- so flavorful! I’ll be coming back here for appetizers drinks! It is a small establishment, but it’s worth the wait or the standing room only. Highly recommend it!"

"The fishes are so fresh they melt in the mouth. The chicken in the bento box is a bit fat, need to be careful also when you eat it. The flavor were great and everything mixed great.
