"We had a really great experience at Avenew on a quiet Tuesday night. Our hosts were personable and helped make for a memorable evening. We started by splitting the octopus salad. It was wonderful with a glass of a local rose. My wife had the cod with the rose and I had the duck with a really nice red blend. Both of us were quite happy with these (as well as tastes of each other’s main). Dessert with a port was also great. We’ll be happy to come back again!"

"We were not sure where to go for lunch after visiting the palace, but just thought to visit the restaurant in case we find something suitable and price worthy. To our surprise the price was pretty much normal what you can get at any other restaurant in the city. The food was also good and quantity was sufficient as well. You can definitely try!"
