Eat and ambiente was fantastic. to the foot of the cathedrale. after the meal they take a walk around the place and have some gelato if they still have a place in their liking. there is a gelato spot directly over the cathedrale. What Olo Fabbri doesn't like about Regina Lucia:
One of the finest Italian place in town, or at least we are told so by our 5 star hotel concierge and a few other guides. We had a lunch here out in the front terrace and convinced ourselves that we are paying for the location. Food was ok but not “omg this is amazing”, as Japanese I was a bit shocked by quality of tuna and how it is cut and served (I guess it’s probably authentic local way but remember Italian never... Food was nice, but courses were served shortly after each other even though we told serving staff to give us sometime. Place is nice.
Very nice food, similar to other reviews. Food was authentic and really hit the spot. They also catered for a nut allergy which was very accommodating. We had the tasting menu which was very good The front of house service however was very cold. They did not have the ability to interact with guests, and we felt a little bit ignored throughout the dinner. They were very robotic and did not ask how the meal was at any point.
