this place is easy from the beaten stretch in the labyrinth of the roads that form ortigia. it was recommended by our host and is certainly worth looking for outside if they want a traditional Sicilian pizza at a reasonable price. when we arrived, we could close the restaurant as it seemed empty, but that was because the whole action took place in the beautiful hidden courtyard to the back. there is a large selection... I would rate it a very good for price quality ratio, the pizzas are big and cheap and really not bad at all, but after picking this place reading so many good reviews I think it's only fair to rate mostly for flavor. It really...needed some seasoning. Also walked past some places that had much better ambiance. I think I would enjoy this place more for lunch, though I think they are just open for dinner. We found this restaurant with reviews on tripadvisor and had to use the instructions provided for it, as it was easily removed from the beaten stretch. as one of the others mentioned more valued than we first entered the restaurant it went empty and closed, but. go to sleep and go to the beautiful enclosed courtyard and the equally beautiful host. the variety of pizzas in the offer made it difficult to choose, but we finally decided on a egadi for my man and a etna for me. Although the description of etna containing cream from kartoffel ' I was still surprised that the pizza toppings contain essentially maic kartoffel '. However, it was absolutely delicious when quite too large. I have to admit to being defeated and I couldn't manage dessert, tho I'm sure they were just as delicious. would definitely recommend a pizza that is just a little different.
Excellent pizza in a lovely courtyard. Choice of two kinds of crust and they offer gluten free. We had a Roman style and liked it very much.
Pretty good pizza, but not as good as the one earlier in the week. Friendly service
This place is easy from the beaten stretch in the labyrinth of the roads that form ortigia. it was recommended by our host and is certainly worth looking for outside if they want a traditional Sicilian pizza at a reasonable price. when we arrived, we could close the restaurant as it seemed empty, but that was because the whole action took place in the beautiful hidden courtyard to the back. there is a large selection of pizzas, and even the gourmets are very competitive. they are also ready to adapt the toppings when they ask and if they can not eat everything, they will take it home for them. the rest of our pizzas served the next day for lunch. friendly and efficient service with inexpensive drinks in a very attractive stone courtyard. What is that?
We were for a walk and a thunderstorm began, so we hacked in here. very beautiful place and personal beautiful and friendly. had the rustic kartoffels (e.g. between chips and craps), a pizza and a mixed grill of seafood. all well cooked and delicious.
