The food is always exceptional! My favorite spot in Door County. Usually have a bit of a wait, but totally worth it!

This is my 3rd visit to Al's and as with each other time it was fantastic! Even in the off season the restaurant was busy but staff was pleasant and kept up nicely. Atmosphere is relaxed, decor is unique and establishment is clean and welcoming. I came in with a group of 7 for my birthday and our waitress kept our orders and checks straight (3 separate), food was excellent and came out in a reasonable amount of time and was delicious. Will always go back! On a side note, I wish people would give restaurants and servers more than one single chance when writing reviews- especially in peak season and when busy. Every one has an off day but this place is truly a special gem in Door County!
