Always a pleasant spot for a quiet pint with the dogs. Beautiful, and generally tranquil harbour views.

"I was at the Bombay House restaurant with my friend yesterday for dinner, and it turned out to be a quiet and pleasant experience. To start our meal, we opted for the non-veg dish accompanied by a refreshing Cobra beer, which were both delicious. Passing to the main street, I asked for the lamb biryani while my friend chose aloo dum with keema naan, and we were delighted to find that all the dishes were absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and the preparation was first hand, making it a truly satisfying gastronomic experience. "Took a guest who was staying with us. Having had great experience previously thought it was a safe bet. However main courses for 2 of us were not good. 3 starters were amazing beautifully presented. The double burger cod were very disappointing. Cod was over cooked dry chips were not fully cooked. Our guests double burger was awful really should have given it back k but he didn’t want to offend us or staff. Burgers were over cooked bacon on burger cremated. The chips were also underdone. We did mention it to girl serving us in fairness another (maybe more senior ? server took our complaint well did offer complimentary drinks (only our guest took up offer as we were ready to leave . Would hope that complaint actually got back to the kitchen. The men enjoyed their pints the ambiance of the pub and the serving staff were excellent."
