I really do not agree with prevoius reviews! We headed there on a rainy night, for a late dinner. Maybe the best chinese I've ever had! Really surprised: All food was made at the moment, tasty, flavourfull and abundant. The only think maybe? no chopsticks. I really enjoyed it (we had spring rools, chicken curry, beef chow mew, udon. Fries and rice were delicious too) If i'll ever be back in ireland, i would come back... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Dynasty:
The restaurant only offers takeaway. The food was awful and the establishment appears to be in urgent need of cleaning and repainting. It is a dimly lit hallway that leads to a counter where orders can be placed. A sign indicates that there is no restroom access, and it doesn't appear to be a new sign. I am a fan of Chinese cuisine and have dined in many Chinese restaurants over the years, but I have never encountere... View all feedback.
We were the only people in the restaurant as it was an early dinner, but others were steadily coming in for take out. We did the two courses for one price, starting with egg rolls and then having chicken and mixed vegetables. When our entrees arrived, we were delighted they were served in individual woks which were bubbling away! Good flavor. They have a very limited list of wines available by the glass, so we got a carafe so I could get the kind I wanted (which was fine). The service was fine not a lot of attention but we weren't ignored either. It was nice during our 3 week trip around Ireland to have something a little different for dinner. Also, where we live in the U.S. there aren't a lot of nice sit down Chinese restaurants, so we appreciated the elegant feel to the place.
Visited here as a table of two slightly out of the usual tourist season but was pleased to see it was still open for business. We both opted for the early bird three course special and had prawn toasts and spring rolls as starters and a vegetable Szechuan, a special mix with chili sauce, rice and chips as a main. The food was prepared quickly and arrived piping hot. The mains were served with warmers to maintain the hot temperature. The quality of the food was as I would expect from a good level Chinese takeaway. We had no complaints for the value of the food we received. It would have been nice to have had other customers present but this was most likely due to there being not many other tourists in the area at the time. I was aware of the one star rating that someone has provided, but without a review as to why would say that this was a baseless rating potentially done maliciously and would advise people to give the restaurant the benefit of doubt and pay a visit. The only criticism I could genuinely offer was that our host didn't seem to want to engage in conversation. A shame as everything else was to my liking.
I love this place fantastic value great food Lovley portion sizes. Lovely staff there very friendly nice and busy place
Ribs terrible no meat all grizzle and bone barbecue sauce thick and not nice. Chow mein seemed like it had been warmed up dry and tasteless
Placed an order for delivery while staying in courtyard cottages. Over 50 minutes later, no sign. Called again, it 'll be 10 minutes . 15 minutes later, called again, should be on the way. 5 minutes . 20 minutes later, still no delivery. Ended up placing an order elsewhere. Don 't bother with this place for takeaway. They eventually arrived over an hour an a half after the initial order was placed. Sent them back on their way.
