This is a really nice local coffee shop in Skidegate. You have a lovely view of the bay. They bake all of their goodies in the store. When we arrived, they had just taken cinnamon buns out of the oven...who could resist that! Nice healthy selection of coffee and teas. They offer breakfast and lunch, and they do a take out service. When the weather conditions is pleasant you can also eat and drink outside, and there is free WLAN.

This bistro by far is the best around, clean, friendly and great food and coffee! They also have a friendly raven which hangs around the back door!

Jags Beanstalk is a great place for lunch! Awesome bacon Caesar wraps and even better coffee! The atmosphere is casual and the service top-notch!

"I'm not sure why people expect a remote island Resturant to be like Vancouver eatery.....The OV has good food excellent pizza and pasta and calamari. Staff is friendly but people need to relax and enjoy.... if you have to wait it's ok it got a great view of the harbour We ate there 3 times during our 8 day trip and enjoyed each time"
