Do not understand the good reviews. Really bad experience. One thing is brown napkins and messy decor, but pizza on finished poor bottoms and salamipizza pizza...

"Best fish and chips I have tried, including ones from London. The fish was fresh and even my picky little 4-year old ate a huge piece for lunch. Great value and quality. You get 4-5 large pieces of fried fish in a basket, lots of fries, a small salad greens, and 3 types of sauce for 99 KR. The setting of the restaurant is nice as well with lots of windows overlooking the bay and outdoor patio seating. The restaurant is maintained nice and clean, and they have an English menu!"

"We had a set menu, locally smoked salmon with smoked salmon crème, mousse of chives and a deli salad. Entré was rose veal with root vegetables and charcoal which merged with the sauce and presented a very interesting flavour. As a primarily veggie I had a bite of the veal, it was perfectly done. Dessert was a chocolate cake with buckthorn coulis and tiny macarones. Everything was nicely presented on the plate. The wine chart was surprisingly good with very interesting whites and reds, a.o. from New Zealand. We were two parties seated next to each other, and that combined with the low ceilings made the noise level thunderous. Service was friendly and jovial"

"The place is old-fashioned, but tidy and clean. The soup that we took was too much watered even if it was not so bad. The meat was really tender and tasty, but the boiled vegetables around were insignificant and absolutely tasteless. The beer was OK....Last consideration: the price is a bit high and not coherent with the food level."

"We had an overall good experience when we were here with our two small kids. We ordered burgers all round, with an interesting fish starter to share. Unfortunately all burgers had to be sent back due to a mistake in the kitchen however replacements were very yummy and well executed, and the staff was really helpful, friendly and apologetic about the incident. Would happily come back another time and will recommend the place to family and friends"
