Here you will be served real good and tasty Norwegian food. What people want when they are skiing. The ski resort further down Voss has something to learn here

"Pretty good. Our guide was very beautiful and well versed in Viking/norsemen lore. The village was quite large and after approx. 30 minutes tour you could go around the village and make various things with the inhabitants. It also has a very good gift shop."

"First skiing holiday for my family and I, and Myrkdalen was perfect. Stayed here over Xmas week and it was mostly v. quiet with beautiful weather. Hotel is clean, comfy and modern. Food is decent (lots of it! and staff v. pleasant. Ski slopes were perfect and the instructors at the local ski school were excellent and super friendly. I'd definitely come back for more skiing."

"Higher located skiing resort. The resort is cca 1000m above the sea level and so has good snow conditions from Dec-May. it is approx 2 hours drive from Bergen. Restaurants are closed a bit earlier than ski lifts!"

"I would love to rate this higher but the price of a lift pass stops me, 485 nok for a day (6 hours) is too much, especially when you bring the family."

"Room was nice and tidy, but no tw in the room. it seems as if the walls were thin, because when the other guests woke up around 6-7, they could clearly hear it. the room was dog friendly, which was a plus. nice and friendly staff who also works there"

"I 'm sure this is a great resort during the ski season, but as it 's summer it is not up to par. We booked a 2 bedroom suite (since we had two couples) which turned out to be a 3 bedroom apartment. Two bedrooms only contained bunkbeds and the third bedroom had a double bed that requires entrance from two doors to get to each side of the bed. You had to bring your linens to the lobby upon checkout. It was a fine stay for one night, but can 't imagine more."

"Best skiing resort in Norway. Great variation of slopes and amazing views from the mountain peaks. There are often loads of people so be prepared for some long queues and crowded slopes. Most people here are very experienced skiiers though so you generally feel safe."
