"I wanted to see if I can use some of Tim Horton reward to purchase donuts and coffee, so I asked this younger cashier boy. He just laughed at me and told me “buddy that promo is over long time ago man.” Okay, fine. And I now wanted to use my point to purchase the beverage, so I made an order and told him if I can use my point. He banged the counter, and call his manager and said “hey, now this guy want to use his point”. I totally understand that he did not know how to redeem points for the drink, but he didn’t have to treat customer like that.Being friendly is different from being too frank and too casual. I hope he can treat other customers better and would have a better experience next time."

"We went for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon in October 2022. Service was quick, without a long wait. Three young ladies were preparing the food and drinks so everything was done quickly. They were three of us. We had the Caprese sandwich, the egg salad sandwich and The house sandwich. Along with lemon cookies and apple caramel cheesecake. One of us also had a London fog. The bread for all the sandwiches was homemade and very good. All three sandwiches were delicious. And of course the cookies and cheesecake were a yummy finish to the meal. There was lots of seating. And even though it was pretty busy, we were able to find a table to sit up with no problem. This was around 1230 in the afternoon, so it was still lunchtime. They had lots of different baked goods that looked very good. We would certainly eat here again."

"A friend shared an experience on Facebook that reached hundreds of people, myself included. As I come from the indigenous community myself I have to say it is absolutely disgusting to allow racism to take place in an establishment. Especially seeing as we 're First Nations people and we face discrimination everyday. These two young people were doing a workshop for indigenous youth nearby and wanted a bite to eat.. they were sat next to an intoxicated patron who kept bumping his gf 's chair, he apologized but then kept staring at them as they received their food. My friend asked him politely to stop staring at them, and the man challenged my friend to which he said no, they just wanted to leave. The server told the man to calm down and he told the server, You know better than to serve those Indians . My friend and his gf left but the intoxicated patron was allowed to stay, and was continued service. I 'm sorry but even if you allow racism in your establishment it must mean you are too. Just wanted to share in case any native Americans were planning on eating here! Don 't go!"
