"It was my first time coming here and I wasn’t disappointed. The wide variety of dishes will give everyone something different and unique to choose from. I had the southern fried steak while my wife had the black and blue poboy. The atmosphere is nice and ideal for sitting down and visiting with friends. There are TVs around the place offering different sports to observe. The staff is kind and attentive. Next time we are in Louisiana this will be on our list to return too."

"Awesome place. It have a family vibe. They let me change my seating reservation three times. Our server Ashley was amazing. It was my son 11th birthday party and she did everything to help me surprise him with his cake. The food was great. I got my money worth. If I'm ever in Slidell for lunch I will eat there again."

"We enjoyed Mother's Day brunch very much. Our waitress was Katie and she treated us royally. The food was delicious and just the right portions. When we were escorted to our first table my wife and I noticed a cool draft of wind from the ac. We mentioned it to the hostess. She immediately, without hesitation or any sign of annoyance, looked at her seating chart, apologized for the draft, and brought us to an adjacent room to another table where we enjoyed a fine brunch. The ambiance in this restaurant is pleasing to the eye and everyone around us seemed to be having an enjoyable time as well. My wife and I highly recommend Palmettos on the Bayou Restaurant. It's fine dining at it's best"

"The service we recieved was great! Our waitress was very attentive and sweet. Any questions I had about the menu she was able to explain in great detail. I went for brunch and had a jalapeño cornbread with a crawfish sauce which was a special appetizer for that day. It wasn't spicy at all, but it was pretty good. The fried gulf oysters was on point. I really enjoyed, along with the sauce! Overall, I had wonderful time dining here, not to mention the ambience and atmosphere was wonderful, I will definitely be back. Next to try will be the Palmettos cheeseburger, I'm told it is very good. I recommend you to give this place a try : ."
