Salsa Loca - Slidell

I recently dined with my family at this restaurant and was very satisfied with the meal. They offer black bean hummus on the menu, which I didn't try this time as we were enjoying the chips and salsa, but I plan to try it next time. I ordered a taco salad without sour cream, cheese, fried beans, or avocado ranch, and instead got extra guacamole and black beans with salsa. It was incredibly delicious! I was pleasantly surprised when the waiter not only understood my vegan question but also knew that the black beans and rice were not vegan. The fajitas looked tempting, so I will definitely try them next time. The atmosphere was pleasant, the staff was helpful, and the food was delicious.
