What B J Gober doesn't like about Fat Cat Lounge And Cafe:
They serve beer wine appetizers, some entrees and desserts. The evening we went in here the AC just could not keep up. The waiter was slow because of the crowd but very friendly. From the excellent location to the extensive wine list, this restaurant is a gem in Smithville. The building is a historic downtown, red brick merchant space that has been decorated with eclectic taste. Local artisans have jewelry and art treasures for sale. The food is homemade, and they have a great music scene. Open mic on Thursdays! Very friendly staff and ownership. You can tell that they all enjoy their job and are proud of this venue. This is totally worth the trip. The wine selection really is impressive. Looking forward to visiting the Fat Cat Lounge and Café again soon.
