"I LOVE THE FOOD! But? things have begun to go downhill at this spot and even worse now after the remodel. Before the lines were quick, customer service was superb, but now? the wait time is TERRIBLE even though they have two lanes now. What they should do is designate one lane for mobile orders, and one lane for regular orders. If this place doesn?t get it together, I?m afraid we will start to see more and more bad reviews. Also some of the employees before were always courteous, but that has slowly begun to change. I really hope management is reading these reviews."

"The kids surprised me for Mother’s Day dinner here. It was a excellent choice. The staff was amazing everyone so eager to please. I can’t say enough good things about the Chef he was funny, polite and the food he prepared was amazing. I will definitely take my boyfriend there when he comes to visit. The leftovers were even good later that evening. I look forward to dining there again."

"I love Barr's Music City Soul Food. I often get it directly after work. I have no idea what happened with my order. The Smothered Pork Chops were terrible. They were overcooked, dry, cold as hell... and the gravy was congealed and never melted. It was never anything but a gel regardless of heat or water added or whatever. I shouldn't have eaten it. The macaroni and cheese was decent. The dressing was dried crumbs, and they did not put any gravy on it. I'm not gonna lie. I was grateful for the lack of gravy. The Peach Cobbler was the only thing that was hot, and it was fairly peach less. They included another dessert at no extra charge, and that red velvet cake was delicious. The roll was fine and they included a cornbread muffin which was decent too. I'll give them another chance IN PERSON so I can see what's good and what looks old. I feel like my plate was frozen and they had to defrost it. Soggy and pretty bad overall. They have a good track record with me, so this time... they're forgiven."
