Stopped here for a quick lunch while on a tour. My fish and chips was a very large portion and delicious, washed down with a cider. We did not sit outside because it was wet. The tables by the windows were all taken but there is a nice view of the river on the outdoor deck or some of the inside tables. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Riverside Coffee Shop:
Nice place, however food wise the quiche I was served had a soggy bottom. And burnt at the edges. A good way to prevent this is to bake it blind and wrap tinfoil around the edges to avoid them burning. Coffee was okay, slightly on the cold side. Butter with the soup and bread would have been ideal. No salt came out of salt shaker as salt was crystallised to the top. I hope the staff are treated well here View all feedback.

Dreadful ,worst place I have eaten in and I would not be fussy,first time I have ever left a negative review it ,I would hate to think people would spend their hard earned money here…
Sorry we wasted a treat to eating out there. Barely got handed a menu. The menu itself very lacking , we should have left then) not really enough choice to order and then they didn't have what we did order so only ended up with onky sandwiches and chips. Tuna sandwich had no mix mayonnaise just dumped straight from tin with brine oozing out of it. They couldn't even bother to cut sandwich in four. The baguette not even toasted, just load of mushy chicken on it. Very disappointed won't be back. And 6.95€ for plain sandwich, chips extra
