What Raoul Ullrich doesn't like about Blackland Smokehouse:
- what? since the move to Texas, we have bbq of at least 8 different places, all very recommended. only today, after we tried blackland, we finally have an authentic quality texas bbq experience! amazing brisket, perfect ripening, great sausage and even the smoked turkey was moist and tasty. it is a definitiw sort of “local only” place. when they go for the first time, they don’t sit down and expect their order to be taken! go back to where the food truck is in the garage and put their order! All we have tried, we will definitely be back!.
A friend of mine and I went to eat there for the first time and food was great! You get a lot of food on her plate.
Tried the brisket ribs jalapeno sausage beans potato salad and it was all very good... Will definitely be back....
Best ribs I have had in many years. Perfect amount of smokey flavor and tender as all get-out!
How fun to have a rustic old feed store turned into a BBQ Restarant. Such great food! My favorite is the T-bird, but it's all worth the trip.
Excellent food!!!!! We ordered to go orders and it was the best.
