This authentic Spanish bistro is a great place for friends to gather and enjoy some tapas and wine. It’s a popular spot so call and book a table in advance. Expect it to be crowded and a bit noisy because people are having a good time.

After many years in Taipei I finally found a place with the true flavour of Spanish tapas that brings me back to my country. Authentic overall and a great experience. The choice of food is very representative. Food was spot on and service was particularly attentive. Note the variety of local Spanish beers! 非常推薦！

Food quality is very great! Ordered the garlic shrimp, highly recommended; grilled octopus, right between tender and chewy, recommended; my personal favorite is Alhambra Salad, grilled steak is flawless.

What a beautiful experience! We were so focused on the delicious food that we forgot to take pictures. Here’s one we got of the lamb shank though. Everything from the service, food, and chef was top notch. The chef, Pablo, has the talent to bring truly authentic dishes direct from Spain and then add some Taiwanese flair and creativity to some (like the Taro cheesecake hint: you can’t leave here without trying this). We tried everything from the shrimp with garlic (gambas), drunken seafood stew to the squid ink rice and lamb shank with barley (we loved the barley touch because it tasted like rice but we typically don’t do much rice) and Spanish wine. We topped it off with the taro cheesecake taro is homemade and you can actually taste the fragrant flavor of the taro because they use real taro. I don’t typically write reviews but I couldn’t help myself here. A must go in Taipei if you want a truly unique and unforgettable experience!
