"It's a bit out of the way but it was definitely worth the detour. We had never been to Sorel before but we had this restaurant on our 'bucket list' -- and we are definitely going back. The current menu was themed with asparagus in several dishes -- we both tried the appetizer with asparagus sesame toast topped by a poached egg and it was simply fantastic. There were a few other appetizers options that looked great too but we don't regret both taking the same thing :)There's a lot of options for single table d'hote, and even a nice set of options for a double table d'hote at 85$ for 2 including wine (and some option for extras for a different bottle of wine or meat, both at 10$).We took the bison tartar and it was very good, with a nice presentation. I took the penne mascapone and it was very good -- in a big plate that i couldn't finish.Service was great, the ambiance as well, and we were able to take our time while having dinner over 3 hours. Not a place where you are rushed, which is very nice.I didn't find it pricey for the food quality, presentation, options, and service -- compared to similar restaurants that is."
