Friendly and helpful staff, contained prices, but absolutely normal and typical food there is very little. Overall recommended, but without too many statements.

"Awesome good food, navy/leakfully laid out wonderful staff and cozy music in the speakers. Each table had its own iPhone charger never seen before? what we didn’t know before the visit was that the staff also drove us home to the hotel for free. we’ve booked bistro sorrento tomorrow as well and are picked up at the hotel by restaurant staff, fantastic experience, food a “must” when visiting sorrento."

"This is a genuine diamond in the rough! If you want to spend between €14 €25 per course you must try out Kalma. But if you intend to bring some one else or several others, DON'T tell them about the location! Discovering the place is just as much as an experience.. It truly is a magical place. The ambiance is perfect. The staff are just attentive enough that you don't feel overshadowed or abandoned. Their product knowledge is excellent and each item is perfectly explained. And English is spoken. The food is a traditional (local) calabria fusion as well as a mouth watering sushi selection (and I'm not a fan of seafood)."

"I took my wife and a friend for dinner and we raved about the meals, the service, and the friendly staff. My wife had vegetarian tacos. Our friend had the chick pea meatballs with cherry compote. I had the fresh scialatielli with bottarga and lemon zest and the fritture di calamari. Desserts were Creme Inglese and a Pineapple dessert with ginger, mint, and lime, I think. Anyway, it was all great. Wish we had more days in Sorrento so we could return."
