"Fresh ingredients, cooked up as you wait made to order. Close to the highway so if you're on a cross country road trip and want to skip the normal fast food traps well worth it. We' be done the after hours delivery right to our beach site and was just as delicious. Friendly, clean and usually surrounded by sunny skies."

"Whether your a local or just passing by like I was make sure you stop in and grab a bite to eat! Their service was fantastic and their zombie burger was absolutely amazing! one of the best burgers I've had in Canada. If you've got a bit more time to play after you've had your zombie burger they also have some pretty sweet paddle boards for rent so make sure you grab a slushie and a paddle board and hit the water for a bit to cool down! I will definitely be stopping by again next time I'm in BC!"

"Want to rate this 3 1/2 actually, as the food itself is fine, but if you are in a hurry, don’t eat here.The servers were efficient and friendly, and although not even half full, the two could barely cope with the guests.We waited about 40 minutes after orders were taken. Coffee fill-ups had to be asked for, and by the time the 4 breakfasts came, the toasts were all cold. The food is plentiful and tasty, and the price reflects the portions. It is hard getting and keeping food industry staff these days, so don’t expect the ‘good old days’.A reliable and convenient place nonetheless."

"I have stopped in the Blind Bay Country Market for lunch in the Cafe every time I travelled on Hwy 97a. Spannickers Cafe opened last October. The Cafe is clean and staff are friendly. Fast service and good food. The chicken panini with pesto cheese taste awesome. Tea is served with water of very hot temperature and that's how I like it. There are several in store baked desserts; the poppy seeds, bran and apple muffins look delicious. Definitely will eat there again..."

"We stopped here for a light meal. We didn’t have a reservation but the hostess was able to give us a lovely seat in the dining room overlooking the golf course. It was a nice sunny day and we had a lovely table with a view. Our server Breaana (sp) was kept very busy with the tables in the dining room but she took very good care of us and even took the time to chat with us for awhile. The tables were well sanitized between each seating. The menu is somewhat limited but what we had was very good. My husband had the steak sandwich with mushrooms and it was very good. He said that it was just slightly overcooked but was still excellent so he did not sent it back. It came with a nice fresh salad, a massive basket of French fries and some onion rings. It was all very good. I had salt and pepper chicken wings and they were delicious. The wings were a decent size, they were very well seasoned, crispy and they were nice and moist. Some of the better chicken wings that I’ve had. My husband had a glass of wine with dinner. They do have a very limited selection of wine available. It is very good for a casual meal."
