we live in sugar beach, but decided to explore other restaurants in the area. dasheene is certainly a step above all offers on sugar beach and a better value.

"It's a small little place with only outdoor seating on palettes or directly in the sand of the beach. It's lovely decorated. It only serves a tasty hamburger, also different beers, juices and tonics. There is life music of good quality and on Wednesdays there is a jam session so that everybody can join in, sing or play their instruments. It has a great atmosphere, is very relaxing. You can go for a swim and relax later at the bar."

"I found Mokocho from Happy Cow. I really enjoyed my veggie platter. The people inside were also really nice and helpful. I also got a veggie wrap and burger to go, as the next day was a holiday and I wasn't sure if I'd find veggie food. They were both delicious. I recommend coming here if you're in Castries City."
